Who we are

An association of volunteer experts founded in Fès in 2013

Experts Bénévoles pour le Développement brings together experienced professionals, retired or still working, and young people eager to get involved, around one goal: putting their skills at the service of Morocco's development.

Our story

In 2013, founding members already active in various associations asked themselves how to create synergies between their fields of action. The idea emerged to bring together the most diverse expertise in a new organisation, around a shared vision.

Initially focused on designing integrated and replicable development project models, particularly in rural areas, the association has gradually broadened its scope. It is now a recognised partner for many public institutions and development actors in the Fès-Meknès region.

Since 2019, the association has been reaching out to similar networks abroad to build international partnerships, enrich its expertise and extend its reach.

Our vision: To promote a spirit of volunteering among senior experts, professionals still in activity and young people seeking supervised action, in the service of development.
Our mission: To act as a source of proposals, a resource mobiliser and a broker between development actors, so that actions and programmes converge and achieve maximum impact.

Field assessment

Our experts visit the site, meet residents and local authorities and assess real needs.
Design and costing

Technical studies, detailed budget estimates and partnership set-up.
Mobilisation

We bring funders, institutions, local associations and volunteers together around the project.
Monitoring and accountability

Works supervision, reporting to partners and capitalisation to replicate models that work.

The association is run by a fully volunteer board elected by the general assembly.
